Open Weighing and tap an activity on the Home tab to start a timer. Tap the stop button (or tap the activity again) to end the session. You can only have one timer running at a time — starting a new activity automatically stops the previous one.
On the Home tab, tap the edit button in the top corner to add, rename, recolor, or delete activities. You can also reorder them by dragging.
Presets are curated sets of activities built for different lifestyles — Student, Professional, Parent, and more. You can apply a preset to quickly get started, then customize it to fit your life. Your current data is preserved when you switch presets.
Weighing automatically backs up your data to your personal iCloud account. This is a private backup — only you can access it, and it does not sync to any of our servers. You can trigger a manual backup or restore from the Settings tab.
Weighing is designed primarily for a single device. The iCloud backup lets you restore your data on a new device, but real-time multi-device sync is not currently supported.
If you have iCloud Backup enabled, your data is preserved in iCloud and can be restored when you reinstall Weighing. Without a backup, data stored only on-device will be lost when the app is deleted.
Data export is not available in the current version. This is something we may add in a future update.
Go to Settings → Dynamic Island and enable Live Activity. While a timer is running, you'll see the elapsed time in the Dynamic Island (iPhone 14 Pro and later) and on the Lock Screen.
Make sure Live Activities are allowed in iOS Settings → Weighing → Live Activities. Also check that the feature is enabled inside the app under Settings → Dynamic Island.
Weighing is a one-time purchase — pay once and own it forever, including all future updates. There are no subscriptions, no ads, and no in-app purchases.
Open the App Store, search for Weighing, and tap the download button. Since you've already purchased it, the App Store will not charge you again. Alternatively, use the Restore Purchases option if it appears in the app.
Your privacy is central to how Weighing is built. This policy explains what data the app collects and how it is handled.
Weighing does not collect, transmit, or store any personal data on our servers. All time-tracking data (activities, sessions, settings) is stored locally on your device and, if enabled, in your personal iCloud account — which only you control.
If you enable iCloud Backup in the app, your data is synced to your personal iCloud account using Apple's CloudKit framework. This data is governed by Apple's iCloud privacy policy. Topbeta LLC has no access to your iCloud data.
Weighing contains no advertising SDKs, no third-party analytics, and no tracking of any kind. We do not use data for advertising purposes.
Weighing may use Apple's built-in crash reporting (if you have opted in to share analytics with App Store developers via iOS Settings). This data is anonymous and used solely to improve app stability.
Weighing does not knowingly collect information from anyone under the age of 13.
If this policy changes materially, we will update this page. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
